Individual Therapy For Adults

My approach to individual therapy is direct and interactive and the focus is typically on the current life stressors. This style is most effective with problems related to anxiety and depression stemming from relationships, work, parenting, loss, and life transitions. The approach is adaptable to issues specific to men and women with different ethnicities and family backgrounds, in both the straight and LGBTQIA+ communities.

Usually, we meet for an initial consultation to determine the personal fit, develop therapy goals, effective ways to reach your goals, and agree on a consistent meeting time.

Individual therapy is face-to-face, “talking” therapy, that will usually begin with 50 minute weekly visits. Depending on the treatment goals, people may meet their goals faster with more frequent visits.
